STUEDLE,
Mary Falvey, 69, of Louisville passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 24, 2013.
She was born on May 22, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late John H. Falvey and Margaret Dragon Falvey and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
Mary was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and continued on to study for two years at The College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, OH.
On September 7, 1963, Mary married Joe Stuedle, started a family, and have been together nearly 50 years. She was an integral part of the success of Stuedle, Spears and Francke CPA firm, which she and Joe began in 1976.
She enjoyed traveling, relaxing on the beach and being with family, friends and her dogs. She adored the lifelong friends in her bridge club and at Woodhaven Country Club.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Stuedle.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Joe Stuedle; three daughters, Melinda Noltemeyer (Bill), Lisa Robbins (Todd) and Kristin Stuedle; siblings, John H. Falvey (Riki), Ann Handy, William Falvey, Patricia DeVuono (Larry) and Brian Falvey (Kim). She also leaves to cherish her memory six grandchildren, Nikki Robbins-Ayers (Billy), Elizabeth, Brenna and Zoe Robbins and Eli and Isabella Noltemeyer and two great-grandchildren, Ian and Finlay Robbins-Ayers.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hosparus for their incredible care in her final days.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Stuedle will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service and after service until 8 p.m.
Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to Animal Care Society, KY Humane Society or Sacred Heart Academy.
